Liverpool target Adam Wharton offered to Real Madrid
The Crystal Palace star is one of the hottest midfield prospects on the planet.
Adam Wharton has been a key part of Crystal Palace’s success in recent times.
The Eagles have won the FA Cup and Community Shield over the last two years, and the 21-year-old midfielder has been attracting interest from Europe’s biggest clubs with his consistently brilliant performances.
In November we exclusively revealed that Liverpool are holding initial talks to discuss signing Adam Wharton in 2026.
The Reds won’t be alone in that, with several clubs keen to sign the Englishman in the summer, with a January exit highly unlikely.
The Premier League’s biggest clubs are keeping an eye on Adam Wharton, but he is apparently also attracting interest from abroad.
AS published a recent report, saying:
“He is not only considered as a possible signing for the ‘Big Four’ of the championship – Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea – but also of Real Madrid.”
“The Englishman has been offered to the white club, which does not contemplate the operation for now.”
A summer move is being considered, as Wharton is seen internally as a potential Tchouameni replacement for Los Blancos.
Playing way beyond his years, Adam Wharton already appears to be the finished product, and whilst Liverpool are well in the race for the midfielder, it’ll be a tough battle to get a deal over the line with Europe’s giants closing in
