Yuliarto affirmed that capital or resources are the key to strong and quality production. "The ministry will focus on enhancing national independence, creating quality jobs, fos...

Environment minister,Markets must manage their own waste

Image
Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq reminded markets to manage the waste generated within their premises to reduce landfill contributions. At the market cleanup event in Cimahi, West Java, Nurofiq underlined that only residual waste should be processed in landfills as per Law Number 18 of 2008 on waste management. To this end, regional waste management efforts are deemed essential to reduce the volume of waste that ends up in landfills. "Markets are mandated by Law Number 18 of 2008 to resolve their waste, not leaving it to the mayor or district head," he remarked. This step is necessary since, based on the National Waste Management Information System (SIPSN) data from 2024, open dumping systems sent approximately 3,083,633 tons of waste into landfills. The same data revealed that markets contributed about 13.38 percent of the total 29.3 million tons of waste generated by 278 districts and cities in 2024. Hence, the waste cleanup action carried out jointly by the Minis...

Paul Merson and Mike Dean clash live on Sky Sports

Image
Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson and former referee Mike Dean have clashed over whether referee Michael Oliver was right to send off Liverpool head coach Arne Slot during the Merseyside derby. "It's the heat of the moment," Merson said on Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday. "It's the last night game at Goodison. It was a big, big football match and he got involved in it. "I thought the ref could have had a bit more class about him. He could have easily not have sent [Slot] off. Have a bit of common sense. He couldn't wait to get [the red card] out. I don't care what's been said." "He would have said something to Michael and you don't know what's been said," Dean replied. "The players and managers have to take responsibility for what they say and do. You can't just ignore it." "The only thing you can get sent off for there, for me, is if he went over and said 'You're a cheat'," Merson continue...

Liverpool fans left fuming after Man City star's stunning Newcastle hattrick

Image
New Manchester City signing Omar Marmoush has officially announced himself to the Premier League with a sensational 14-minute hattrick. The Cityzens hosted Newcastle in a crucial clash for a spot in the top four on Saturday, but it quickly became clear that it would not be much of a contest. Despite the Magpies boasting one of the Premier League's stoutest defences, it only took Man City 19 minutes to score - and then they scored again, and again. In the space of 14 minutes, Man City rushed into a three-goal lead and all three goals were scored by Marmoush. Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Raheem Sterling are the only players in the Manchester side's history to score a hattrick in a shorter period of time than the Egyptian. After four games without a goal contribution, the €75 million signing officially announced himself to English football with a first-ever career hattrick. The goals were perfect illustrations of Marmoush's full skillset: his speed, his deft touch, his in...
